For everything you need to know about creating a welcoming space for garden wildlife, we’re creating the Warrior Eco Beginner’s Guide.
Remember our campaign against artificial grass? Well, one of the main reasons we’re advocates of natural gardens is that they’re much more inviting to the beautiful garden wildlife of the UK.
Whether it’s the hedgehog napping in a pile of leaves, a family of foxes of their way through in search of a few snacks, or the birds singing in the trees, there’s no doubt that wildlife makes a garden feel even more special.
But then we realised, if you did start seeing new friends appearing in your garden, would you know what to do?
So, we’re working on creating an ongoing series of blogs that helps you to protect the precious nature of the UK. We’re calling it our Beginner’s Guide to Garden Wildlife.
Over the next few months, we’re going to be talking about some of the most beautiful and interesting little creatures that the UK has to offer, including:
- Hedgehogs
- Foxes
- Birds
- Voles
- Toads and Newts
- Insects
Get to know your garden wildlife:
The first animal we’ll be welcoming to our garden is the humble hedgehog, so come back soon when we’ll give you all the information you need on keeping hedgehogs in your garden happy.
